Incomes of 1,520.5 billion lei (88 million euros) entered Moldova's national public budget in January 2010, which makes 14.3 million lei or 1 per cent more against the planned indexes.
Compared with the first month of 2009, incomes to the national public budget surged by 83.6 million lei or by 5.8 per cent, according to data by the Finance Ministry.
Finance Minister Veaceslav Negruta said that spending made from the national public budget in January 2010 stood at 1,802.4 billion lei, which is by 25.8 per cent less against the forecast indexes.
Compared with January 2009, the spending from the national public budget went up by 14.3 per cent.
Negruta noted that the deficit of the national public budget was 281.9 million lei by 31 January 2010, including the deficit of the state budget 236 million lei, the surplus of the budgets of the administrative territorial units of 123.2 million dollars, the deficit of the state social insurance budget of 204.4 million lei and the surplus of the mandatory health care insurance funds of 35.7 million lei.
