In the currency transfers structure, 47,5% fell to the share of US dollars, 46,1% - euros, 6,4% - Russian rubles. As reported earlier, the money remittance to Moldova from individuals from abroad through commercial banks in 2009 was $1 milliard 182.02 millions, down $478,07 millions or 28,8% in comparison with 2008. $982.3 million or 83.1% of the total amount of transfers were received by rapid transfers in January-December 2009. In particular, money transfers in the 1st quarter of 2009 totaled $225.69 million, in the 2nd quarter - $289.03 millions, in the 3rd - $331.53 million, in the 4th - $335,77 millions. The largest sum in 2009 was transferred to Moldova in December - $122.14 millions, the minimal - in January - $64.3 millions. About 54.1% in the structure of currency transfers in 2009 fell to the share of US dollars, 40.6% - euros, 5.3% - Russian rubles.
