Taking into account the inflation, the real wage rose by 2.7%, InfoMarket was informed at the National Statistics Office. The average monthly wage in the public area was 2375.2 leis, exceeding the level of last year January by 13.3%, in the real sector of economy the average monthly wage grew by 2.3% - to 2899 leis. The largest average monthly wage in January 2010 was received by employees of the financial field – 55.32.9 leis, energy enterprises – 4401.2 leis, transport and communication enterprises – 3485.5 leis. The lowest salaries in January 2010 were in agriculture and forestry, fishing industry – 1294.8 leis.
