Income to Moldova's state budget up by 3 per cent against 2009 plan

Overall returns to the state budget stood at 13.6 billion lei (778 million euros) in 2009, which accounts for 103 per cent of the indexes seen in the budget law, according to data by the Finance Ministry.

Finance Minister Veaceslav Negruta said that incomes to the 2009 budget plunged by 15.1 per cent compared with 2008.

Negruta added that spending from the state budget was 17.2 billion lei in 2009, which represents 96.4 per cent of the indexes seen in the budget. Compared with 2008, the spending increased by 4.5 per cent, he said.
