The company was founded in Chisinau in
July 1966 as a state owned joiner's works mainly to provide
the principal constructions with the wood articles. In 1994,
as a part of the privatization process in the Republic of
Moldova, the shares were sold to private investors and the
company's name was changed to "Timplarul" S.A.
The total production space of the plant is 5 290 m2. It comprises
two production sections and four auxilary sections. The technological
equipment includes saw mill, wood drying rooms with total
space of 350 m3, four-faced plane machine, multiblade hade-saw,
warm and cold pressing, finishing off devices, painting rooms,
etc. All that allow to process about 5 000 m3 of wood per
year. The technological process includes all the stages of
wood manufacturing: logging, drying, processing and manufacturing
of the elements for different articles, finishing off, painting,
packaging and dispatching. The annual production capacity
of the plant is as follows:
- lumbers - 3 000 m2
- windows - 60 000 m2
- doors - 150 000 m2
During more than 35 years of the enterprise's activity its
staff has accumulated a rich tradition and experience in wood
manufacturing. Today we offer to our clients the best products
from ecologically pure raw material that can be utilized in
lodging's garnishing and the assembly of the different articles
made of various species of wood such as conifers, oak, ash,
cherry, nut-trees, mahogany etc. Being the biggest joiner's
works from the Republic of Moldova we provide the main state
and private owned constructions with the doors, windows and
other joiner's articles.
The company's main target is to implement new products that
will meet the growing requirements of the domestic and foreign
clients and to enlarge the cooperation activity with the companies
from the Europe and other countries. JSC "Timplarul"
